Erawan Museum

The hall represents Mount Sumeru - This is a sacred mountain in Hindu mythology considered to be the centre of the universe. The domed stained glass ceiling is meant to represent the roof of the world and was made in glass so that light and goodness could pass through it.

  4. The blue and yellow are captivating for me. The circles, the dome, the story all equate the joy and compassion of living. Of Life.

    Wow.

  7. What a stunning building. I love how the pillars seem to hold up the glass roof. And the colours in the glass are lovely.
    Good shot all round.
